oh, where do I begin. checkout at 10 AM was utterly ridiculous, I felt so rushed. also, not having the option to dine out nearby was just unacceptable, a table d'hotes thrown together? please, I expected better hospitality. a complimentary welcome drink would have been a nice touch for such a 'cozy' place. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The warm welcome from Jay and Hazel was so heartwarming, felt like coming home! The view of the castle was absolutely lekker from my room, and that brekkie – wow, such nice touches. Oh, and their dog Victor was a total chommie – sweet as!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a cozy night. Jay and Hazel made me feel so welcomed, especially with their warm hospitality. I enjoyed sitting in the beautiful fireplace area that had lovely decor. The breakfast was delightful, with fresh fruit and perfect coffee. Their dog Victor was friendly, making the atmosphere even homier. I wish the checkout time was a bit later. it felt rushed to leave after such a perfect stay. The view from my room was stunning, looking right out onto the charming village and the castle. Definitely worth exploring more in the area!

Wow, Hazel and Jay were just the best! Super friendly and helped us feel right at home. The decor was colorful and everything was so clean! Breakfast choices were awesome, especially the homemade jams. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer – checkout felt a bit early for my liking.
